Traditional overnight and longer dive trips have long been offered in whole-day increments—one day, two days, three days, and so on. While familiar, these schedules often require divers to end their final day around midday to begin the trip home. The result is a shortened last dive day, compressed dive schedules, and the feeling that you're trying to squeeze every possible dive into just a few hours.
We've taken a different approach.
By offering 1.5-Day, 2.5-Day, and 3.5-Day expeditions, every trip includes a complete, unrushed final dive day—from first light until sunset. Instead of racing the clock, you'll enjoy an entire day to dive, explore, relax, and experience the destination the way it was meant to be experienced.
Whether your goal is to maximize bottom time, capture incredible underwater photography, search for elusive marine life, or simply enjoy a slower pace between dives, our schedules are designed to let you set the rhythm.
Some divers will make every dive the day allows. Others may choose to skip a dive, enjoy lunch on deck, take in the scenery, or simply relax with friends. Both are exactly what these trips were designed for.
1.5-Day Expeditions
Perfect for divers looking to escape for a weekend without sacrificing an entire dive day.
Depart in the evening, wake up at your destination, and enjoy a full day of diving from sunrise through sunset, then traveling home, arriving in the morning. It's the ideal introduction to expedition-style diving while maximizing your time underwater.

2.5-Day Expeditions
Our most versatile trip length.
With multiple days to explore, the captain has greater flexibility to move between sites based on weather, visibility, current, and marine life activity. You'll experience more of the destination while maintaining a relaxed schedule with plenty of time between dives.
Perfect for divers who want to fully immerse themselves without committing to a week-long expedition.

3.5-Day Expeditions
Designed for serious divers and explorers.
A 3.5-day expedition provides the flexibility to reach more remote locations, spend additional time at premier dive sites, and adapt to changing conditions. Rather than rushing from location to location, we can stay where the diving is exceptional.
These expeditions offer the best opportunity to experience California's offshore islands and banks at a pace that simply isn't possible on traditional charter schedules.
